"No route found" errors

WHAT IT MEANS

roodswap looks across dozens of DEXs and bridges through several leading routing engines at once. It picks the route with the most output after fees and gas. "No route found" means none of those engines could build a valid path for the trade you asked for, right now.

It is not an error with your wallet. It is not a sign that funds are stuck. It means the specific combination of token in, token out, chains, and amount had no usable route at that moment.

WHY IT HAPPENS

A route can fail to build for a few plain reasons:

• Amount too small. The trade is below the minimum a route needs to cover fees and gas, so nothing comes out the other side.
• Amount too large. There is not enough liquidity to fill the size you want without unacceptable slippage, so no route clears.
• Illiquid pair. One or both tokens have thin or no liquidity across the sources we check, so there is nothing to route through.
• Unsupported chain pair right now. That specific source-to-destination chain combination has no route available at the moment, even if each chain works on its own.
• Missing destination address. Cross-ecosystem trades (for example SOL to ETH) need a wallet connected on both sides so there is somewhere to deliver the output.

HOW TO GET A ROUTE

   Change the amount

   Nudge it up if it was tiny, or down if it was large. Small changes often clear a route that was blocked by minimums or liquidity.

   Swap through a liquid token

   Route via a major token like USDC or a native asset, then to your final token. Deep liquidity finds a path more often than an obscure pair.

3. 3
   Try a different chain

   If the pair is unsupported on that chain combination, pick a different source or destination chain where both tokens have liquidity.

4. 4
   Confirm both wallets are connected

   For cross-ecosystem trades, connect a wallet on the destination side so there is an address to receive the output.

NOTHING WAS SIGNED OR SPENT

"No route found" happens before you sign anything. No transaction was created, no gas was spent, and no funds left your wallet. roodswap is non-custodial; funds never touch it, and it only ever moves assets after you sign a transaction yourself.
