No accounts, no KYC, your privacy
roodswap has no sign-up, email, or KYC, and never takes custody, but on-chain activity is public and self-custody is your responsibility.
No sign-up, no email, no KYC
There is no account on roodswap. You do not register. You do not give an email. You do not verify your identity, upload documents, or pass KYC.
You connect your own wallet and trade. The app finds the best route and hands your wallet a transaction to sign. That is the whole relationship. Disconnect and there is nothing tied to you to delete, because nothing was created.
On-chain activity is public by nature
Every swap, bridge, sell, and send is a blockchain transaction. Blockchains are public ledgers. Your wallet address, the tokens you moved, the amounts, and the timestamps are visible to anyone, forever. This is true of all on-chain crypto, not just roodswap.
A wallet address is not anonymous. Anyone who links an address to you can see its history. If you want separation between activities, use separate wallets.
What is and isn't collected
roodswap does not collect identity information. There is no name, no email, no KYC, no account profile.
- Not collected: your name, email, government ID, or any KYC data. There is no login to hold this against.
- Not held: your funds or keys. roodswap is non-custodial. Assets move from your wallet straight to the destination and never touch roodswap.
- Used to make the app work: your connected wallet address and trade parameters are processed to fetch quotes and build the transaction you sign. Standard technical data (like an IP address) may be handled by the infrastructure that serves the site.
- For exact details, categories, and how technical data is handled, read the full Privacy Policy.
Self-custody means you are responsible
No accounts means no password reset and no support line that can move your money. roodswap cannot hold, freeze, move, or recover funds. Crypto transactions are irreversible.
You hold your keys, so you carry the responsibility. Verify the amounts and the destination in your wallet before you sign. Only connect wallets you control. Nobody can undo a signed transaction for you.

This article is the plain-language summary. The full Privacy Policy is the authoritative document on what is processed and how. For any privacy or data question, contact team@roodswap.com.
Privacy from roodswap is not privacy on the blockchain. We hold no identity data, but the transactions you sign are permanent and public. Treat every address as traceable.
