Sending and transferring tokens

How to send tokens to any wallet address on roodswap, what's supported today, and what it costs.

What Send does

Send moves tokens from your wallet to any wallet address you choose. You paste the destination address, pick the token and amount, and sign. The tokens go straight from your wallet to that address.

roodswap never holds your funds. It cannot hold, freeze, move, or recover them. Crypto transactions are irreversible. Once a send is signed and confirmed, it is done.

What you can send today

Support depends on the token type and chain.

  • EVM native coins (for example ETH on its chain) and ERC-20 tokens: supported today.
  • Native SOL on Solana: supported today.
  • SPL tokens on Solana: coming soon.

Same-chain vs cross-chain sends

A same-chain send moves tokens to an address on the same network they already live on. It is a plain transfer. You pay network gas only. There is no service fee.

A cross-chain send moves tokens to an address on a different network. That is routed through best-route aggregation, the same engine behind bridging. It carries the flat 0.1% service fee, which is already included in the displayed rate, plus network gas and the underlying bridge fee. Both are shown in the quote before you sign.

How to send

  1. 1
    Connect your wallet

Connect the EVM or Solana wallet holding the token. For a cross-chain send, connect on both sides so there is a destination address on the target network.

  2. 2
    Choose Send

Select the token and the amount you want to send.

  3. 3
    Paste the destination address

Enter the exact wallet address that should receive the tokens, and confirm the network it is on.

  4. 4
    Review the quote

Check the amount, the destination, the network, and any gas and fees shown.

  5. 5
    Sign

Approve the transaction in your wallet. It goes out over premium RPC infrastructure with priority and lands fast.

Before you sign

[ NOTE ]

Double-check the destination address and the network before you sign. A wrong address or the wrong chain means lost funds. roodswap cannot reverse or recover a send.
