Fees on roodswap
Exactly what you pay on roodswap: a flat 0.1% service fee baked into the rate, plus network gas and the underlying DEX or bridge fee, all shown before you sign.
THREE FEES, NO SURPRISES
Every trade on roodswap has at most three costs. The service fee, network gas, and the underlying DEX or bridge fee. You see all of them in the quote before you sign anything.
roodswap is non-custodial. Funds move from your wallet straight to the destination token or address. There is nothing to deposit and nothing hidden between the quote you read and the transaction you approve.
THE 0.1% SERVICE FEE
roodswap charges a flat 0.1% service fee. It is already included in the displayed rate. The output amount you see is the amount you get after this fee, not before.
There is no separate line to add and no markup layered on top of the price. The rate is the rate. Same-chain sends are the one exception: a plain transfer to another address is gas-only and carries no service fee. Cross-chain moves carry the 0.1%.
NETWORK GAS
Gas is what the blockchain charges to process your transaction. It goes to the network, not to roodswap. It changes with network congestion and with the chain you are on. Gas on a busy chain costs more than gas on a quiet one.
The quote shows the estimated gas so you know the cost before you sign. On cross-chain trades you may pay gas on the source chain and, depending on the route, a gas component covered on the destination side. All of it is reflected in what you sign.
THE UNDERLYING DEX OR BRIDGE FEE
Your trade executes through a decentralized exchange or a bridge. Those protocols charge their own fee, set by them, not by roodswap. This fee is shown in the quote as part of the route.
roodswap uses best-route aggregation to keep this cost down. It compares prices across dozens of DEXs and bridges through several leading routing engines at once, then picks the route that leaves you with the most output after fees and gas.
WHAT YOU SEE BEFORE YOU SIGN
- The rate, with the 0.1% service fee already included.
- The estimated network gas for the transaction.
- The underlying DEX or bridge fee, shown as part of the chosen route.
- The minimum you will receive. If the route cannot deliver at least this amount, it will not execute.
The output amount in the quote already has the 0.1% service fee subtracted. There is no hidden markup and no extra fee added after you sign.
